Immerse in Your Favorite Characters While Family Cruising

Do you and your kids want to pal around with your favorite action heroes? Or, follow in the footsteps of your favorite wizards?  Well start planning for some new family cruising opportunities that offer just that. 

First, Disney will be bringing back its popular Star Wars Day at Sea and Marvel Day at Sea programs for 2019. These events will be featured on select sailings in the Caribbean and Bahamas on the Disney Fantasy (Star Wars) and Disney Magic (Marvel).

Second, the world now has a  river cruise just for Harry Potter fans!  American travel company Barge Lady Cruises will offer a six-day trip sailing on the River Thames in England this August.  The cruise will visit several locations where the Harry Potter movies were filmed.  The cruises will cost approximately $4,190 per person.

Wave season has arrived!  Now that the holidays are firmly behind us, it is a great time to start planning your next family cruise.

“Wave Season” typically runs from January through March. During this period, cruise lines usually present some of their most aggressive offers for the upcoming year. Exciting Family Cruising News From Disney

Disney Cruises announced an exciting line up of cruises out of San Diego for the spring of 2019. Disney announced that its ship, Disney Wonder, will return to San Diego, California in early 2019 for an expanded season of voyages to Mexico.  The ship will sail a variety of two-, four-, five- and seven-night itineraries that include stops in such Mexican port towns as Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan.

Exciting Family Cruising News From Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean announced the imminent return of its ships to key Caribbean ports that had been hit hard by the recent chain of hurricanes.  Adventure of the Seas will return to St. Thomas on November 10.  (See press release.) And soon thereafter, Royal Caribbean ships will return to San Juan and St. Maarten.  (See blog post.)

Finally, Royal Caribbean has released a teaser promo about an upcoming “major reveal” on November 7.
